LimeChar

from $30.00

What is LimeChar?

LimeChar is a blend of screened biochar and fine agricultural lime, designed to improve both soil structure and soil chemistry in a single pass. It’s ideal for growers and graziers wanting to lift soil pH, improve nutrient availability, and increase water-holding capacity — while laying down stable carbon at the same time.

🌱 Why Use It?

  • Neutralises soil acidity — raises pH to support better nutrient uptake

  • Builds long-term soil carbon — biochar holds carbon and boosts microbial life

  • Improves soil structure — increases porosity and water retention

  • Reduces lime loss — biochar slows leaching and helps lime stay active longer

  • Simple to apply — broadcast, blend into compost, or side-dress by hand

How to Use

Apply as you would standard lime — broadcast and incorporate where possible, or leave on the surface for gradual effect.
Can also be mixed into compost, humates, or biological inoculants for even greater synergy.

Cartage and handling quoted separately based on location and volume.
